Glenn Beck’s latest anti-Semitic attacks on George Soros (who is Jewish) should raise alarm bells and anger with people of all political persuasions. Glenn Beck is an expert at laying blame but pretending (very transparently) that he refuses to pass judgment himself. If Fox News is serious about calling themselves “fair and balanced,” they will have to come out with a statement against these radical and quite obviously false comments.
Here’s a more complete explanation about the twisted intentions behind Mr. Beck’s comments and why they’re so dangerous: http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2010-11-10/glenn-becks-anti-semitic-attack-on-george-soros/
Of course, George Soros is a major donor to the Democratic Party, as well as to human rights and transparent governance causes globally. It would be perfectly reasonable for a media figure to point out Soros’ funding of liberal causes (provided that this is done in a manner that attempts to be truthful), but ruthlessly discrediting the man by antisemitically portraying him as a Jewish Uncle Tom are patently reprehensible and must be retracted immediately and unequivocally. All Jews deserve a tearful but sincere apology from Mr. Beck. This is another unfortunate example of a partisan message being used obscure the truth and cause harm.
Hear hear!
“As close as I’ve heard on mainstream television to fascism.” That’s a scary thought.

Absolutely not! Glenn Beck is not anti-semitic! He is anti Soros and that is it. He has enormous popularity in Israel because we know that he is a big supporter of our Jewish State.
He’s a supporter of Israel not because he supports Israelis. He supports Israel only because he thinks it gives American business, Christian, pro-Western culture, and pro-democracy interests a foothold there.
I’m calling bullshit. To quote my father: “Sooner or later people who hate others will sooner or later turn against the Jews.”
You think they support Israel because they believe that Jews deserve a homeland? No. They support it because they think we all need to crowd into a country the size of New Jersey so that the aliens/Jesus can come and take them to heaven.
I’m guessing the two of you do not live in Israel. You would not know any better that regardless of his motives, which can be argued into the ground, at the end of the day he is a supporter of Israel. Believe me, Beck and Fox News are extremely popular here for that reason.
Jake, the following post and the articles linked there might explain more clearly why Glenn Beck is decidedly not a friend of Jews.
